Peter Shearer     Ceramics, Gifts       Peter has been working with stoneware clay for 30 years. He aims to achieve a balance between form and function in whatever he makes. His forms and glazes are strongly influenced by New Zealand’s unique environment. Each piece is individually handmade on a potter’s wheel and fired in a gas kiln to 1300c. Peter shares his workspace with his wife, Jeanette, whose framed ceramic kete are also listed on this site.
