The dolls listed on this site have all been authentically costumed and hand crafted by Jean Currie and Sheila Sullivan. Jean and Sheila are both foundation members and past Presidents of the New Zealand Doll Federation. They have been making dolls for the past twenty years.

The dolls are all collectible, porcelain.

The bodice, piupiu, cloak and headband are from an original design created by a former year 14 student at Whangarei Girls High School where Jean used to teach. The names "Kura" and "Here" (pronounced Koorar and Cherry - the R's are rolled) were also selected by Jean's students.
