 In 1988 I was fortunate to see an exhibition of Jadework by Donn Salt. His carvings are among the most supreme known in the world today. I was awed and deeply moved by the perfect beauty and intrinsic LIFE of his works. This inspiration stayed with me and I was extremely happy when in 1989 the artist consented to instruct me in basic stone working. The growing passion and love for Jade has influenced my attitude to and way of life. In 1991 I was able to harness the rewards of this passion .... establishing my own business working as a professional Jade carver. It is my intent to live fully concious and carving stone is part of That. |
