Handmade cards and giftboxes package any NZ gift perfectly and the hand crafted cards feature stunning New Zealand landscape photography. Celia Allison designed and painted the cards listed on site. They were then distributed for sale by her organization, Moa Revival. Zizania is the inspiration behind the packaged and handmade paper listed on site. This was created from Manchurian Wild Rice (Zizania latifolia) by craftsmen based in Northland. Where the items are packaged in the handmade paper the paper has been hand-folded into boxes which display the art pieces beautifully. Uniquely boxed and with a matching gift card, each makes a totally New Zealand gift of the highest quality. Les Sweetman is one of the four Kiwiartz partners. When we realised that we needed a set of cards depicting New Zealand scenery, flora and fauna, Les volunteered to develop those cards. He has a keen interest in photography. Uenuku Papers is a small design company committed to indigenous development and the use of eco-friendly materials. This means that the items they sell are designed by Maori artists and reproduced on 100% recycled paper. We support the kaupapa or philosophy of their enterprise.
