Vicki Comrie-Moore

In the early ninties she started exhibiting her work around local galleries in Taupo and Rotorua, close to where she lived at the time. In 2000 she then started exhibiting at the 'Ellerslie Flower Show' and again in 2001. The large pieces were suited to the outdoors and were very popular with gardeners and collectors alike, they depicted New Zealands bush and fauna. The pieces were featured on Maggie Barrys garden show.
These days Vicki's work has become smaller and more detailed with the use of feathers, paua and flax, the pieces have a natural earthy look which appeals to a wide range of tastes.
Vicki's work has been collected by people all over the world, and by local collectors here in New Zealand
