Born into a family of Artisans Hazel Hunt recognised her talent at an early age. Hazel studied Art in Rhode Island USA and there she began her career as a successful portrait painter. After returning to her home in Devonport, Auckland, she began a series of large oil paintings, her largest "The Patriot" which incudings 17 figures hangs in a private collection in Washington USA. Hazel's passions are painting people and fish. Beautifully illustrated her fish include New Zealand's famous Brown trout, Snapper, and Hapuka.
